NOTE ON BRAZIL TARIFF: On 11/20, the U.S. government removed its 40% “free speech” tariff on Brazilian coffee. This after the 11/14 removal of 10% off the original, crippling 50% tariff slapped on Brazil coffees earlier.
In short, coffee from Brazil now carries zero tariffs if it entered U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) on or after 12:01 a.m. Thursday, 11/13.
