TODAY’S COFFEES roasted in San Diego on 7/9/24:
REVOLUTION: Colombia La Plata limited release microlot, carbonic acid maceration process, (this means the beans were slow dried in an air starved, carbon dioxide rich environment in an effort to sharpen desired flavors) light roast. We think it best in a filter cup. They claim it makes a fine shot of espresso. http://revoroasters.com
XULA MEXICAN COFFEE: Mex Veracruz dark roast. Some fine, uniform beans here; when they said “dark” they weren’t kidding, either. Citrusy and snappy stuff. Also available, roasted cacao beans. http://xulamexicancoffee.com
YIPAO: Colombia Huila El Tulipan, Castillo and Typica varietals; Full City (medium-dark) roast. http://yipao-coffee.com
SHED LIGHT: Ethiopia Kayon Mountain; dark roast for Moka pot, filter cup, french press or other civilized ways of brew; single origin 74110 and 74112 varietals, natural process, certified organic. http://shedlightcoffee.com
