NORTH COUNTY ROASTERY: ESPRESSO had a particularly fine Ethiopia Peaberry from this roaster yesterday; dark roasted at 425 degrees, with beans uniform in every aspect. This was a smooth, compelling coffee with the usual zing peaberries are known for. Their only rub is the difficulty of contact…and response. http://northcountyroastery.com

VIGILANTE: Brazil Capim Seco; yellow and red bourbon varietals, natural process, medium (Full City) roast. Notably bright taste; we thought it best as a filter cup, but then, we’re partial to that brew method…http://vigilantecoffee.com
